SAMCo Committees and Working Groups

State/Federal Working Group
Develops SAMCo’s federal appropriations and state legislative agendas for consideration by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Also assists in implementation of the federal and state legislative agendas and coordination with various public and private-sector SAMCo partners.

Max TheTools Working Group
A working group that explores options to maximize use of all current federal and state transportation funding sources and tools – how to leverage each tool to the maximum extent, how to qualify additional projects, and whether there are any additional resources available to fund the San Antonio transportation projects.

Transportation Leadership Series Planning Committee
Develops themes and agendas, secures speakers, and oversees SAMCo’s Leadership Series with more than 500 attendees.

Oversees SAMCo’s accounting and auditing functions, as well as management of funds.
